The gatherings are aimed at people between the ages of 18-40.

You do not need to be a Christian or have any for of belief to enjoy these evenings, they are about fellowship and learning from each other.

The Centenary Room, St Mary the Virgin Church, Cardington, MK44 3SR

The gatherings will take place every fortnight, starting on Ash Wednesday 2025 (5th March) and will last around 2 hours starting at 7pm.

Although we would love to see you at all of the evening we understand life isn't always so accommodating. 

The episodes can be either watched at home to catch up or work alone and will not affect the discussion part of the evening if you have missed some of the previous episodes. 

The evening will start with us watching together an episode of The Chosen (run times vary between 40 min and 60 mins typically) 

Following the episode we will 'Break Bread' together by sharing a simple meal whilst we discuss the evenings episode. 

During the discussions we will speak about how each episode made us feel, what we might take away from the episode, what is biblical and what is dramatized material for the show and is there anything that has helped to shape our Christian understanding. 

We will also ending each evening with a short prayer. 

There will also be further reading suggestions and resources for those who wish to delve futher in to that weeks topic. 

There is no charge but donations towards food, drink and resources are welcome. 

Food will be prepared by volunteers with food hygiene certificates and will also come with allergen guidance.

If you have a dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerance this can be catered for, please contact us ahead of your visit where possible so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
